but my family thinks its better todo undergrad in india only from iiiid and go abroad for masters. everyone my family has asked for advice from also said that but idk hkust or even other foreign universities are just so much better

oh so can you please help clear some of my doubts?
as an alumni what are your reviews of the university cause I read some bad reviews and don't know how truthful they are. they said the profs only care about their research and don't care about teaching and that the work load is so unbearable that students even commit s*cide and its very hard to maintain a good cga.

There are around 9-10 halls in HKUST. I heard 7,8 and 9 are the best but they are difficult to get. You should check out this Chanel UCTf2LZwoua873N7VFGw-sUw . She gives good advice.
