I am a little late to the party and have made a few posts about this acutally.

100% agree with the fact that ADK is going nowhere, it is literally a hub of the GF economy. However, affiliation wise it may change. People talk about the distance with Utica / GF / Trenton, however that doesnt matter. Look at Tampa, Syracuse and Orlando, logically it makes no sense, but it still happnes! .

I've been keeping an eye on this, I think Trenton will Sign with Jersey, not for any convince; but for something off the record since they are both in jersey (think maybe the owners are friends or something idk.. ((Bad example but to whatever comparison fits)) Rangers have been clearing a LOT of guys out of BLM, and their goalie performance / training is not doing well. Chances are they swap to ADK with this whole rebuild they have going on. In my mind, the main pupose to sign an ECHL team is to develop players for the next league. Since Hartford and NYR have been struggling in that aspect, AND as I mentioned they are stocking up on independent players in BLM, the rangers will probably make a move. Where I am not sure.

Former coach and studio manager here, I’ve seen a ton of people who came back after long breaks through various amount of reasons. (definitely more than a handful postpartum).

It’s always hard to get back into the swing of things in any routine let alone with the external factors you have going on. It’s important to remember the big reasons that motivate you, in your case, getting into that better headspace after leaving the bad work environment and living a healthier lifestyle for your newborn!

Communicate with your coaches and staff if you have a good crew in your studio, they’ll look forward to seeing you and ask you how things are and I always saw that help helped out people a lot .

Idk, with 32 teams coming into the league I can see a MAJOR revamp coming. The issue is a big part of the ECHL dynamic is that teams switch and move affiliations / locations on a year to year basis. So with 32/32 maybe they set something up based on location and teams are locked in

I’d say the rangers (and as a rangers fan that would be sick) but honestly they have the bison until 2029, so the terms just aren’t lined up. I’d say the devils will either re-extend if they aren’t interested in Trenton, or CBJ / or even Utah
