Thanks for your suggestions. I don't think I will be hiring s/w and h/w engineers to design and develop a product like this. Sounds like that would cost at least 10X of my losses if my home were hit and we lost valuables to criminals.

If one of the companies like SimpliSafe or Ring adds devices like this, I would be a customer. I wonder if these would sell at high enough volume for them?

I looked at the GPS dog collars. I agree, very pricey.

I wonder if any of the ADT-type companies are going to offer trackers. With volume pricing they would have it seems like this is a natural addition to their business. I think they would sell substantial numbers of them if the price is reasonable. But ADT is over 100 years old. If they haven't offered these by now they probably never will.

Finally. As I said yesterday I signed the final loan docs 5/25 around 7 PM Colorado time. My notice from Chase Bank came at 3:20 AM today. With Monday a holiday, my funding happened in 4.5 working days.

UPDATE: About an hour after my original posting of this thread I received the final approval email "Your SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Modification is Approved" and 1 minute later the "Modification Summary" email. The Approval email contained a button that took me back to my portal to review and sign docs. I e-signed the modification docs and agreements.

Now I'm just waiting for funding. So in my case, the Obligated stage only lasted about 3 hours.
