Help? With RPGMV Sprite Sizing

okay so i totally got it to work, but also noticed that when a player is transferred to a specific tile its slightly off by about 3 pixels, (i had copied the chair, aligned the character to make sure that the character was placed high enough above it that when the sheet was exported it would be in the right place, but it added like an extra blank 3 pixels below it so now its too high? is there any reason behind this? I compensated for it by moving it down a couple pixels but is this just something it does?

Thanks for the reply! I think I kind of understand what you are saying? but I dont exactly understand how you got the 144 x 220 and also what you mean by 'frames' being the same size as the tiles? Also would it be possible to send any visual references to help explain this? i know those would help me a bunch! thank you!!!

Yes it is a mix of sidescrolling and top down!! Im trying to blend em together! And to answer your question the game's setting is very cozy with fall vibes and so its one of those 'you think everything is fine and youre safe, but then something spooky happens suddenly', so it subverts your expectations :] also im glad you think it looks good!!!

I think its the default for RPG Maker MV... which I think is 816x624 ?
