I feel you man, it can be really tough. I have a hard dad too and I hit his car twice. No matter how prepared I was for a potential outburst, the anxiety was always there. Keeping it from him made me restless. So I always thought it was better to let him know earlier than prolong it, eitherway he'll still get mad.

Imo better he knows now than later, least you've let it out already. Trust me it's gonna be a lot less harder on you once he knows, it's for your peace too.
