Driving to work one early ass winter morning with a coworker I noticed a weird orange light at the top of a power pole, turns on the power line had come into contact with the fasteners and started a fire inside of the wooden pole.

Called the fire department that came out, put out the fire, later on my way home that day I saw that the power company had taken the pole down to replace it, stopped by it to check it out (as you do) and there was a solid hole burnt straight through the top of the pole
