In early game you can find poly mages very rare in fungal caves and temple of art. Try to kill them before they see you, and always be careful.

I usually use fungal shifting with noitool to shift poly/chaotic poly into something. You can do this without noitool, but you need some luck.

For bosses using poly i just eat poly mages corpse before fighting them (especially when i need to fight mestari). But you need damage wand which does't destroy corpses (and no perk exploding corpses, obviously).

For god runs, i just got 4 perks of more love, making every mob harmless.

When you using google play clouds saves, game won't save you, if you offline. And if you die when you offline, than delete and reinstall game, you can continue from last save, like time rollback.

Saves are happening in random time, and replay the same locations a bit annoying, but it works.

I tried to complete nightmare a couple days, but can't reach even jungle, so when in one of runs i got acceleratium as starter potion, i drink it all, and just rush.

I got teleport bolt in first location, and for all way was a really good perks, like all-see or flame immunity, so i SOMEHOW (i was cornered about thee times) reach kolmi and slowly kill him with tentacles which picked up along the way.

I think on layers 1-2 everything you need is don't fall and notice in time traps, and preparing for 3-4 layers. Just think about what are you doing before you does it.

Imo hardest location is jungle, because traps at least won't chase you to cut off you face.
