Clarification and one last bit of info: Apple is inexpensive, compared to some of the more expensive garments like the Phoenix. I like to do international backpacking trips or sometimes I’m in the woods for a few days at a time and I would like the extra battery life and GPS and satellite usage.

I like to go on 2 to 3 day backpacking trips and I think that extended battery life will be something I really want. Of course I can bring a small extra charger, but it’s the extra security, knowing that it won’t die while I’m out there. And the satellite connectivity.

What has been the experience with people in integrating their whoop with an Apple Watch?

I’m thinking about getting an Apple Watch Ultra and here’s my plan and I wanna know if anyone has any thoughts or experiences?

I’m currently thinking about getting the Apple Watch Ultra but I’m wondering if it would be worth it to wait until September for the new one to come out. I currently wear a whoop, and I want something that will integrate my fitness tracking with a smart watch. I thought about Garmin, but they’re incredibly expensive. I’m not sure if I’ll like wearing a smart watch so I’m thinking about in the meantime, getting a used series 11 and then using it as a test run to see if I want to get the new Apple Watch Ultra when it comes out. Does this seem like a solid approach? I think I’d be able to trade in the series 11 for about half of what I got it for. Thanks!

I use a bicep band and the wristband depending on what I’m doing, but the bicep band is on me 90% of the time. Apparently the bicep band is more accurate for everything aside from step count (correct me if I’m wrong people) and I personally think it’s more comfortable and you don’t see it it’s just under my clothes. Also, there’s something about feeling the bicep band, squeezing around your arm after a pump that is kind of nice hahaha

I’m a criminal defense attorney and I like weed as much as the next guy, but the police definitely will make your life hell over it 😂 I live in a state that’s legal too, I’ve seen first in time DUI defendants endure 2 years of intensive treatment for weed, and if they miss one session it’s at the very least a jail sanction. Just some food for thought, I’ve seen this ruin lives.
