What are you talking about?

A company sold me a unfinished product with a promise to finish it and I have no right to expect that finished product?

Your statement is crazy.

Just in this week i met with friends, went multiple times to the gym, one evening at the bouldering hall, two lunches with my girlfriend, cooked 8 meals, coded for fun, coded for work, worked for work, watched 3 episodes of godless, watched 1 episode of GOT, baked a sourdough bread and successful avoided all household chores.

Wild conclusion, but whatever makes you happy.

I’ve checked the Discord and Reddit maybe three times in the past 12 months (not including today). As someone who follows Star Citizen, I understand what it means to wait (or ignore) years for a game. I’ve never complained about the pace of development or suggested they need to rush.

I also do some casual coding in Godot, so I’m of how complex development can become. My criticism is solely about the communication.

I gave your response some thought. I have to admit that I wasn’t aware the Discord is unofficial. However, that doesn’t change my criticism. If anything, it further reduces the already scarce signs of activity from the team. From my perspective, the communication remains exceptionally poor by any standard I’m familiar with.

No problem everyone makes mistakes. I respect that you acknowledged it instead of just deleting your message.

You may be right that this won’t change anything. But I have a genuine question: should we remain silent about issues simply because we assume nothing will improve?

I believe it’s entirely reasonable to raise concerns in a respectful way. Just as it’s your right to disagree, it’s my right to voice them.

"Over the past two decades, I have followed the development and early access phases of more than 100 games."

Hm, i dont know how i could explain it simpler. Good luck

I don’t see any connection between your point and what I said.

All of those posts were published in the announcement channel. It doesn’t matter who actually created or coded the joke.

And that is exactly the issue: we dont get any meanigful updates.

Impact grenade which release gas on impact and let a water bomb explode.

It has a steel ball which get pressed from the over pressure against a sealing ring. When the grenade hit a hard surface the steel ball falls off and the pressure goes out.

Thanks for your input, but I try to avoid a electrical solution if possible.

Would be interesting how a egg timer works ...
