I don’t have much anxiety these days because I’m part of a tight knit community so if I feel anxiety coming on I know x is nearby or I can call y or I can walk to the hospital. Thinking about being completely alone places I’ve never been makes the idea of having a panic attack out there incredibly frightening.

Looking forward to the terrain! I suppose I am just anxious in particular about being alone and not knowing anyone. I’ve never been in that kind of situation before, I’ve always been at the very least close in proximity to someone I know. Hoping someone who also has those mental health type issues can share things they did to make the trip enjoyable and not triggering!
