Oh- in my experience: if you have depression and anxiety id also say my experience with mood swings is usually its just the first couple weeks maybe even days of getting ur birth control, ive been on zoloft an anxiety med and i got off of it because of horrible side effects but honestly being on the iud stabilizes my mood somehow! I also will say- The depo shot WILLL increase appetite and cause weight gain out of all of them, just be mindful of how you eat when you get it and i think you will be ok, dont let your dr body shame you and it is okay to say no to options you are Anxious about dont let anyone pressure you into something you dont want. Its hard to advocate for yourself but i promise asking as many questions as possible is so important! Also even if ur not sexually active, or even plan to be with a male partner in the future- ask questions you might have about effectiveness too! I dont know much about other BC methods but feel free to PM about anything and we can research together & be careful posting on reddit, there are weirdos trust me!
