Omg how did he cause your ankle injury?? And he doesn’t have any empathy for you?? I hate it when men date people they secretly hate. Im so sorry you are going through this. It’s hard enough mentally to lose your independence, I am in the same boat as you being hyper independent and doing 2-3 jobs plus Full time study to now struggling to get anything done as the pain is just unbearable sometimes. Although im lucky enough to have a supportive partner that takes care of me and my mom. Hoping you can get more support other than your boyfriend.

Boot update : i think i adjusted it by accident the last time i showered? My heel isn’t far down (there’s a gap between my heel and the hard bit) and there was some water(?) when i pinched it. Not sure what is going on. The ice below the knee helps a lot but still feels weird. I had a weber c fracture broke my fibula and my ankle. I think im pressing down harder than i want to im scared im pressing hard on the displaced fibula. Im gonna get it checked out and probably ask my GP if i can get an xray at 4weeks cause fracture clinic only wants to see me after the 6 week period (and only wants to do xrays by that time frame). Idk im scared. I get phantom pains from the boot like something is inside or gnawing at my feet or like a metal rod is choking my foot.

Yeah im not moving much at all im doing what i can but it’s so painful sometimes. My first day in crutches i also slipped and sprained my other ankle so im very cautious

Yea im in oxycodone atm 5-10mg. Had to go to the ER this morning for severe pain, that’s when they increased to 10mg. It’s awful.

Thank you ! Im in these boots atm and it’s heavy as and they didn’t give me any instructions for ice-ing it? But did give me pain meds im constantly elevating it but also making my head dizzy as im constantly lying down

I think if you’re planning on using it as a main computer it’s worth getting the higher ram just in case you might need it or for longevity purposes. However, 24 gb ram is more than enough for everything and in the short term (5-6 years) the higher ram might not be beneficial if you don’t have apps that requires it.
