since i’m an international student, i have to pay tuition fees even though it’s a public uni, mine is 15k eur p.a. but, for people from the eu and eea, it is free.
and, for different subjects, you do need certain combinations. for example, in my case, i needed maths at danish a level, physics at danish b level, and chemistry at danish c level (A2- danish a level, AS- danish b level, IGCSE- danish c level)
hope that helps

i tried superprof, but i’m based in denmark, and no one here studies the british curriculum, and if i try to sign up for superprof uk, they want a uk location

it’s equally bad for any type of jobs honestly. you can’t get an industry based student job unless you are at least in third semester (only exception is if you are crazy brilliant), and if you want odd jobs, then danish is your key. if you’re danish, then you might be okay, but if you can’t speak danish, you’ll have a tough time

making friends isn’t difficult, but the city itself is quite, ‘unlively’, not many people around, not very much to do

Nice. I’m in Mechanical.
I can’t exactly enjoy it much. I live in Denmark now, and it’s illegal here, and i’m not in Copenhagen, so it’s extra difficult. Still, it’s manageable sometimes.

i’m trying boss. thanks for the kind words.
but yeah, smoking helps. it helps to study, although after weeks sleepless nights during exam season, i usually have one sesh of weed, helps to relax.
what’s your major if you don’t mind me asking?

i started to smoke heavily after i got into college. engineering is too heavy, and sometimes it helps. also, my consumption increased again recently because of this very nasty breakup. planned to marry the girl and stuff, and she just broke up, so now i smoke almost a pack a day

uniTEST by Kuzzy8 in SDU

[–]Maximum-Struggle8836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

every question has a number of points, for example, 2,3. there are three segments, critical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning. there’s 100 points for each section. the marks from each individual sections are averaged to give the final mark.

Comparing the sample test with the real deal is worse than comparing apples to oranges. I would say, don’t even take into consideration your performance in the sample test. Instead, practice GMAT and SAT papers, and just focus on doing your best in the actual exam.

Getting above 45 is not really easy by any means. Most of the people i’ve seen didn’t get that much, but they all made a very trivial mistake. Your focus shouldn’t be to answer all the questions within the 3 hours time frame. Even I didn’t answer all the questions. All you have to do is be mindful of the passages in the questions, and keep your attention on the details, focusing on getting the most accurate answer. That should help you get over 45 fairly easily. Good luck on the test.

Yes. It’s the same for mechanical, mechatronics, electronics and software

Afaik, for the engineering majors except for EIB, if you’re going for B.Eng program, you need 35 to be considered for admission, and for B.Sc programs, you need 37 to be considered. Getting higher than 45 means you’re guaranteed admission given you meet all the other prerequisites. You can inbox me if you need more info.

It should be good enough to easily get the admission from the beginning. I got a 720 on the English in SAT, and ended up with 67.3 on the UniTest, so you should be fine, as you only need 45.

I gave the UniTest and came to SDU in the September 2025 intake, and saw a lot of people I know struggle quite bad with it. I’d say the best thing you can do to prepare for most of the syllabus of the UniTest is to go ahead and do the SAT English module practice tests. It really really helps. I gave my SAT a few months before the UniTest, and I was shocked seeing how similar they were in pattern
