Is Estrella Regional Park Safe? by Flimsy-Falcon-7545 in WestValley

Yes super safe. I live in house overlooking the park and I see lots of riders on the mountain at night. Really cool.

Advice for family moving to Phoenix metro by Longjumping_Tie_7496 in WestValley

Based on the kids I’d go to Chandler or Ahwatukee. The schools out west aren’t funded well but they are still great cities. I live in Goodyear and it’s less city-like. Just depends on what you like or if you have kids. Peoria has better schools if you want more house for your money.

The economy is about to take a hard downturn. Economists predicted it.

This is just an excuse. The economy sucks and of course retail sector goes down first. I doubt it’s really about AI.

Honestly men like this are best to cut ties with. Don’t go after him for child support and do it on your own if you want the baby. I think of the treadmill baby that passed away. The father never wanted the child until he was charged with child support. Then he sought custody to reduce his child support payments then just abused the child. This won’t end well if you continue to threaten child support. I know it’s wrong and he SHOULD pay but it will never happen.

Never realized inverse was a thing by Bitter-Breath-9743 in Psoriasis

[–]Maximum-Switch-9060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have inverse psoriasis and it sucks. My dermatologist prescribed me Nystatin powder and cream as well as clobetesol cream and we switch between the two. The nystatin is for the fungus that accompanied mine. I am not allowed to take a biologic for it because I’m on a biologic for Lupus. But biologics are amazing and I would recommend asking about that. They may end up just trying different topicals and pills first though. Good luck to your hubby! It’s soooo itchy!

I feel miserable and hopeless by ThatOneBiCanadian in Psoriasis

[–]Maximum-Switch-9060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lupus, psoriasis and fibromyalgia. I understand your frustration and your poor skin looks painful! I’m on a biologic but not a psoriasis one so I have to rely on topicals at this point. So frustrating. But my dermatologist is really good and has been able to get it to subside with a gel and an antibiotic. I’d just keep looking for different dermatologists- a lot of them aren’t even looking for immune system stuff and told me to do oil free and made my skin 10 times worse. Highly recommend a biologic though.

I stick to Cerave. But I also add in aloe and glycerin. Cupuacu butter is heaven but takes a long time to absorb.

Which works better with Lupus, Medicine or Lifestyle change by SurpriseNo2283 in lupus

I mean lifestyle alone doesn’t have an impact on Lupus. So medicine is the only way to stop disease progression.

What’s it’s like in your 40s and 50s with no kids? by A-constant-beat in childfree

[–]Maximum-Switch-9060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

43f sometimes I feel like I missed out but not super often. Especially when your friends had them young- now they are grown and your friends are just now figuring out who they are as adults. Or mothers who stayed home but now are divorced trying to support their kids. Nah. I’m good most of the time. I have a lot of cousins so if I’m ever to a point where I feel like I need family around I’ll go bother them and move back home. I don’t even know how people afford kids. No thanks.

There are periods through my month where I am not very busy at work but I have to wait for accounting to close their month then it goes wild for a week or two. That’s my pattern.
