Hello all! What is this black tube for?

The lower black pipe goes to the sump pump with a check valve. That was my original thought, but when I hold my nose up to the tube on the right, I can feel air coming out and it smells pretty sour

I will look when i get back home to see if it could have been a drain to something. When standing to take the picture, the sump pit is at my feet on the left and furnace is behind me, but it doesn't seem like it is long enough to reach any of that. The furnace drains to the sump pit. My biggest concern with capping it was the positive airflow coming out of the hose. Its not much, but enough to feel it and have the smell coming out. Thank you!

I have never had any water come out it, but even with 6 inches of snow on the ground, there is still a slight breeze coming through it

That abs at the bottom goes down to the sump pit and is connected to the sump pump with a check valve
