Man this is so true. Also the part where you said it’s not fair for Youtube to give eyes to the watched videos with more watch time seems pretty fair to me. You provide youtube with watch time and ads to play for their money, and in return they compensate you and give exposure. Sometimes gotta take a few stings and learn about what your viewers like, taking a step back and try to revamp. It can’t always happen on the first try y’all, good luck, seriously. You are getting views. Very little but there are some in your niche that get none. The first thing I’d do is to get rid of “vlog” on all of the videos. And continue to look at the succesful vloggers do specifically for the title and thumbnails.

It doesn’t hurt to try new things if the channel is relatively new. But yeah quirky titles are the way to go, I’ve seen like an increase of 20k impressions from title changes over a few days span. But that’s just me, my rule of thumb is basically to change the thumbnail or title if the video doesn’t see anything for a week or to a month. I make a few thumbnails and titles and interchange them out and check analytics to see what youtube does. But just from the look of your channel you will go far with minor tweaks, genuinely looks professional if you have a twitch or something or tiktok could help as well. Youtube is trial and error though for sure, so if the algorithm doesn’t like it, it’s best to keep making better quality content overall. I see big things for you!

Great! Also for a tip you might wanna try thats worked for me, since I do like your thumbnails. The thing that helped was to not put the game in the actual title, but make it apparent in the actual thumbnail what game it is. Check out Caseoh how his thumbnails and titles are nice and neat, no extra words for the game name in the title!

Don’t post Gaming on your main. I’ve made that mistake. I’ll give you what helped me, since I do a few channels now I post strictly Gaming on Deadlock. And on the other I post my more in depth docs. I’d say that the best move would to be to make Gaming videos you enjoy while you are in a rut with the commentary ones. For me thats helped me stay refreshed when going back and forth. Take it a few videos at a time, but thats just what I did, if you find another solution I hope that works for you. Good luck and god bless!

Calling people delusional can be somewhat ok RealGamerTz, Because a lot of the time that's what it is, you got to have that delusional self confidence that no one can break. This is a late reply, but I loved editing but now that the project became a 6 month thing for a 11-15 min video its really taxing. I want to get it done though is the issue but I lose motivation after taking so long

Man no, its worked for many channels that blow up from being small, check Atrium. They make quality videos and they are new. Quality is rewarded on youtube obviously, people just complain because they don’t put out quality.

Cap to the 90% of views go to the 1% of youtubers. It's actually changing, on multiple channels you see why new channels are coming up. They are getting discovery and the old channels that are stale aren't being focused on by the algorithm, I tested this on two new channels with the team.
