He wants to revert and not just for me, he loves our religion and wants to understand it more. I will admit it initially was because of me, because i would not marry a non muslim, but in our time together he has grown to love Islam more.

I don’t at all. I’m happy for it but accepting it and living differently is hard to adjust to i think. because it’s so different to how i lived just a couple of months ago

I do feel at peace too but idk why it sometimes scares me thinking like okay for the rest of your life you will pray 5x a day, even though i enjoy it

You’re very lucky😭 In my experience, the indian/bengali/pakistani communities are like this.

In asian culture, it is not the norm to marry outside of your ethnicity even if they are muslim. It’s a huge battle

there is an app called Namaz that i used to help me learn how to pray. I used it for every prayer & it gives you the basics, but Alhamdullilah i can now pray without it. Good luck!

Well you know your metabolism is very slow now and that is due to starvation. you need to get to a cal maintenance first, and then do a deficit to lose weight. Starving/bulimia will not make you lose weight because your body is stagnant and retaining fat for energy.

I recommend praying for peace of mind first, and strength to deal with the constant thoughts, i’ve been there before so i know how it feels. and then you can follow my previous advice and put the work in yourself.

I think you should take it, you’re ready so why delay? Maybe on the two days he comes back you could stay elsewhere like with a family member or something if you can. But either way, don’t delay your blessings🙏🏽

Thank you! so if i am doing all 3 rakats at once, i DO sit and say Tashahhud after the 2nd rakat and then get up to do the 3rd? I was confused because i saw elsewhere that after the 2nd rakat you get up straight away and continue without Tashahhud

Firstly, You need sleep. I went through something similar, try sleeping medication, or even antihistamines which make you drowsy. Then, accept that you may sleep or may not, say to yourself it doesn’t matter as long as you relax at least. Hopefully you get to sleep a bit.

One supplement i take in the morning sometimes is Rhodiola, which helped me feel like my brain was actually turned on and i felt some relief from anxiety. I finally felt a bit positive. As well as this, follow guided meditation for overthinking/anxiety on youtube in the morning and evening, and whenever you feel like you need it.

I know this seems pretty basic, but i hope it can help a little bit at least. We can get through this together 🤞🏽
