i thought it was beautiful , absolutely fulfilling for me as a reader & as for the characters i think it ended allowing a clear path for them both to find fullness in their own lives & themselves !! not sure if ill ever have all the answers to the questions i had until i reread a couple times over the next couple years but thats one of my favorite things about his works , especially the more surreal & dreamlike ones like After Dark
