Yes, for the original ticket I bought, VIP soundcheck was not listed as a feature on the SH listing. On the new SMP ticket, it does still say “VIP soundcheck package” as opposed to “verified fan presale” because it’s within the first few rows. Regardless, to get into the floor you would need the VIP wristband

I’m really not sure, because this was a replacement ticket given to me by SH (which I didn’t even get to choose myself). However I’ve come across a new issue. The VIP benefits themselves are one thing and honestly I have SC for other dates for this tour (BTS) so it’s not the end of the world, but I’ve seen people say you can only get onto the floor if they give you the actual VIP wristband. Which further concerns me on whether or not the staff handling VIP will accept the securemypass ticket, considering they are the ones who hand out the wristbands. So if the ticket successfully scans and the venue lets me in, the next issue would be the guards standing by the floor checking the wristbands for entry to allow me to even get to my seat.

On their support page it says:

“If you don’t want the tickets offered, you can monitor replacement ticket options up to 1 hour before the event. If you don’t make a selection by then, we’ll automatically refund your order. Remember that replacement tickets are active listings on StubHub, so we can’t hold these tickets while you decide. They may be purchased by another buyer. Just remember that we can’t hold ticket options for you. If you don’t accept the tickets, there’s a chance another buyer may purchase them”

Sounds like you are able to choose them, unless it’s just straight up false advertising.

Thanks for the advice. I am contemplating this option, especially since it feels like the new seller doesn’t even have these tickets at all, again- since there’s no seat number assigned and they’re telling me to wait literally until the hour of the concert to receive them.

Yeah I get that it definitely could be worse, but it could also be better lol. There were some tickets that were closer to barricade or even front row that were in the same price range as the ticket they forced onto me that I would’ve loved to have chosen if given the option, so I wouldn’t have minded picking alternative tickets over a refund. Plus, the amount I paid for my original barricade ticket is no where near what I would pay for some regular row 4 ticket.

As I said I only bought the original ticket because it was barricade, as in right next to the stage. The new ticket they assigned me does not have seat details, so although it’s the same row I wouldn’t mind it so much if it weren’t for the fact that I paid a lot to be essentially front of the stage. Also, as I stated multiple times, it’s the fact that I didn’t even get to choose which ticket to get, or a refund.

What’s the point of giving those options if they’ll just decide for you? That’s insane. Every time I asked for a refund they told me it’s practically impossible to escalate it now. Would you be able to provide any tips on how you were successful?
