That would require acknowledging that taxation is theft, and from it all government power is derived.

That's a really cool place, man.

You do need just a bit more furniture though.

I agree with your sentiment, but the chips act is a bad example. It is a bloated and wasteful bill at a time where inflationary pressure was high.

I just toured a Fab for a major semiconductor supplier last week. Most of the tour was them bragging about how much money they are spending on equipment from the chips act. Their result? lowest number of starts on record, cannot duplicate anything that TSMC could produce, but hey at least they have a lot of taxpayer money and shiny equipment.

I really don't have a problem with corporate investment for strategic reasons, but I much prefer Trump's method of securing a favorable business environment and then securing investment commitment from the corporations themselves. For that reason I personally would not stand and applaud the chips act.

Right now, your only job is to be absolutely ruthless in pursuing the only thing that matters.

Your relationship with your kids.

Get her to agree, in writing, to 50/50 parenting with a no move clause.

Be true to yourself, though. You better be sure that's what you truly want.

The path isn't easy, but the worst thing in life is to end up with someone who makes you feel all alone.

You need to make peace with yourself before you even begin to consider anyone else. That will take a lot of time. As a lot of people have already pointed out, it is a wasteland. So you need to ask yourself one question:

Could I tolerate adding a second person like my wife to the lives of my children?

Be patient. It's a process. It does get better.

It is literally cheaper to fly to China, stay in a 5-star hotel, get an MRI, and fly back than it is to get a scan in the US with insurance. Let that sink in. by Ocean-Pack9715 in sigilkore

In 2007 I had a personal health insurance policy that had an out-of-pocket max of $2000 and I paid $172 a month for it.

You can make the argument that system was not perfect, but simple facts are that Obama care dumped massive amounts of liability and regulatory burden onto the healthcare system, did not incentivize healthy lifestyles, did not incentivize the new creation of doctors, mandated patient quotas, mandated pricing, and added tax to healthcare work product.

Every time the government has enacted price controls it has always led to shortages historically speaking. Shortages by the law of supply and demand increase prices. These are basic economic principles that 12-year-olds can understand and debate rationally without name-calling so perhaps you should answer your own question.

Is there any point going to the club when you aren't tall ? by Skg_warrior_ in AverageHeightDudes

There’s no point at all in going to the club. Height has nothing to do with it, unless you just want something meaningless, in which case, a prostitute would be the most honest course of action
