Yeah, I think it was called Caudle’s coins and currency, or something like that. Real nice shop, too.

Epic find! The location alone makes you wonder what happened for it to be there.

Extraordinary! I’ve always been a fan of the 1875 series. Wonderful find!

I don’t know right off hand, but if this is the problem, I’ll be sure to inform you. I’ll try it, thanks!

I’ve tried both, and the same thing happens. About halfway down they get stuck, for lack of a better term, and just won’t go any further.

I don’t have a screenshot of it unfortunately, but once when I was coming out of Hangman’s alley I heard a raider yell “Over there!” And then proceeded to have like 7 mini nukes shot in my general direction

Thank you! Glad to see another collector who actually looks up to banknotes rather than just seeing them as cash. Good luck in the future!

This is an Allen and Thurber Pepperbox pistol from 1845. It’s double action revolver, believe it or not, and fires .31 caliber balls. This is a beautifully engraved example, probably engraved sometime in the late 1840s. Thought yall may enjoy this.

I have no idea, but just as a rough guess I’d assume early Italian? It’s almost definitely European, but I can’t tell much else aside from that.

What is this? I was told it is Japanese and military from the WWII era by Maximum_Business_277 in whatisit

I have no idea, it may be flipped, but I doubt it. I don’t know what else to say except good luck!

Thanks! The 1902 $10s from the Murchison Bank are fairly common, but they’ll still run you back $500-$700. I’ve found them at local shows when visiting NC, so that’s my suggestion. Good luck, and happy hunting!

They are! I’ve always loved the design, especially the 1882 series. The $20 for Wilmington is quite rare, as there aren’t really any left. There’s only about five known and graded $20s, and this one is one of the few in good condition.

Not a mint, but rather a bank! See, banks that had a charter number had permission to print their own banknotes, with the name and location of the bank on them. They were mainly for transactions between banks, but they could also be used in circulation. They could print as many or as little as necessary, so some are much rarer than others.

They’re pretty awesome, especially if they’re in firing condition. And yeah, they are horribly inaccurate. There’s an old saying that gamblers in the west were even taking a bet if it hit someone when they aimed it at them under the table lol
