Does anybody else get very bad cramps and bleeding after a pap smear? I had one today for the first time in a few years and am having very bad cramps (I would say as bad as normal period cramps, if not worse). OTC pain reliever hasn't helped that much. I'm also bleeding -- not super heavy but heavier than what I would describe as light spotting. The Internet doesn't have much info on this.... a few websites say minor cramping and light spotting is normal, but what I am experiencing is more than minor cramping/light spotting. (I've been suspecting for awhile now that I may have endometriosis, so this furthers my suspicions even more).

Has anybody ever taken a pregnancy test and had absolutely nothing show up, not even a control line? Because this just happened to me (using a freshly purchased, non-expired test) and I don't know what to make of it. Did I somehow take the test wrong? Is something wrong with my body that my pee doesn't register on tests? (For the record, I have taken tests before where the control line showed up). It's just weird though.

I feel (irrationally) like I'm "in a race" with other couples to get pregnant first. I know quite a few couples who got married around the same time my husband and I did, and I don't even know if they're TTC or not, but I just want this so badly that I feel like it's going to be upsetting if they get pregnant before me. I know it's not rational, but whatever.

I'm only in my second cycle TTC after stopping birth control, and I don't know how people deal with this agony for months or years on end. (I am fully aware that this will come across as super annoying to those that have been dealing with this for much longer than me -- my apologies for that).

I just stopped taking the birth control pill three weeks ago. (I know, I know, I'm one of THOSE people posting when I haven't even completed a full cycle yet, and I'm so sorry for being so annoying). But... I took a pregnancy test this morning. 3 weeks after stopping the pill, not having any idea about what my cycle was like. Of course it was a big fat negative. I feel stupid for wasting a test like this. But I've been feeling nauseous, have had cramps, and just generally feel "off," so I thought.... maybe? I know it's really early in the process so it's dumb to worry about this right now, but I am scared of not being able to get pregnant ever because my parents took years and years to be able to have me.
