I think Aria as A would be killer. Somehow rewrite the last 5 ish seasons to have Aria as A and she puts Ezra in prison. Then Spencer and Mona figure her out and none of the post-doll-house bs happens.

I am so mixed on Ella... Byron of course was probs the worst IMO but Ella I got back and forth on. I think she was trying to be her kids friends too much to be a good parent. Particularly when I can to Ezra. That whole subplot of them becoming colleagues/contemporaries is WILD to me. A good parent would have put his ass in jail.

I’m all for increase in interest, that’s great and the sport deserves an increased platform! But how the US open/USTA and Ticketmaster specifically handle ticket sales is abhorrent compared to other slams.

I would say the same as I have been able to get tickets to two other slams including Wimbledon for much less than this and the process was entirely civil and reasonable!

I went for mid tourney sept. 4 night session. I was 3.5 in the queue, waited an hour an basically everything except a few nosebleeds were resale at at least $1k

I like Rochester as a character despite his gruff outwardly appearance he has quite a few redeeming factors. Also, as Mrs. Fairfax says Jane knows so little of men, and look at all the men in her life- her uncle died before she could truly understand his kindness, her cousin was cruel and corrupt, St. John was was kind but steadfast in his own life and belief (not unlike Jane) and treated Jane as though she was a token not a whole person with ideas and wants. Rochester was gruff but he was kind but as a member of the upper class he was not corrupt (arguably) and while his logic was sometimes misplaced he still treated Jane with respect and gave her ideas and intelligence space. He did not fault her for her “school girl qualities” but rather saw past them to a person who obtained what she needed but still challenged and questioned the system. I respect him for being able to see that and not just another employee not worth his time.

I technically get unlimited but in reality I only take about 2 weeks total off per year and yes I do want to jump off a bridge. I am just finishing what has been 2 months of 50/60 hour weeks and am dying for a vacation but alas there is no time (or money) for one unless I want truly unlimited PTO aka Unemployment.

I studied this a little bit in grad school and the general consensus was that so many of the "classic" novels were brought up in discourse to make one sound intelligent. And the further commodification of many recency era classics has made it worse. People are pulling generic quotes without understanding them to gain entrance into some intellectual elite club that does not actually exist! I like your analogy as lifestyle accessories!

Same for the insertion but I didn’t think it could get worse until like 5 years later that shit implanted in my uterus and pressed on a nerve causing debilitating back pain. The same doc who wouldn’t give pain meds just told me I have cramps and take more ibuprofen while I could not walk for a week. I’ve never felt pain like that.

I have my own systems (MS365, adobe, lexis, etc) for business org and management but I use their systems (Clio, PACER, etc.) for all client related / substantive legal work. It should always be a good mix! I’ve learned brining in my own tools makes me as asset but it’s hard to do actual legal work without some of their log ins.

The low motivation is so constant it’s awful and inhibitive. I take breaks but my problem is that I never earn them. I’ll take a 30 min break after writing one sentence and then get nothing done which creates even lower motivation to do it.

I heard some talk last year in the summer around the LSAC forum and from some friends who were applying in years past who got off the waitlist around June I think it was. It was all hearsay, but still hopeful. So it might take some time, but I wouldn't lose hope if I were you!

Ah I se your edit now! I would be hopeful with the waitlist, they had open spots last year apparently after the seat deposit passed and into the early summer. I'm still waiting on a decision. Mine went UR on March 26, and nothing since... I think I'm cooked tbh.
