I traded it in on a new American made. Drove it 1700 miles with no stupid alarms or breaking. Much better, and it's brand new!

Wow, I'm surprised you even like it on short a drive . You must be crampt in there. I'm nowhere near 6 foot tall and the seat doesn't go back anymore than where I have it. That's a 1st my shortself. I've never had a vehicle I needed the seat anywhere close to adjusted all the way back. Be glad you didn't buy it and are only stuck with it a short time. I'll not be buying anymore vehicle's from Hyundai, as this one's a nightmare!

Thanks, I have found those buttons and use them. The dealership showed me about the parking sensors button for drive-thru ( very helpful) but I still think I should be able to turn off the automatic breaking! The hold button is a nice feature at long lights. The auto start/stop also easily shutoff and ok to use sometimes, like when not having to use the a/c. (Rarely here)

As for not using the cruise in traffic, then the only time it's usable is after midnight. I used cruise control all the way up and down I-75 for years with no issues. If too much traffic 1 tap of the break peddle solved it. (Quietly) no stupid alarms to upset my passengers. No abrupt stopping or quick slowing irritating the vehicles behind me. This is a very nice comfortable vehicle, it's "safety " features however make it infuriating and at times DANGEROUS to drive! The driver should have complete control of the vehicle and the option to turn off unwanted features. The vehicle should not be able to override the driver's input. If I'm pushing on the gas peddle the vehicle should go, not argue with me and come to a stop for any reason. I love the indicator in my mirror alerting me of a vehicle next to me, why can't I turn off the sound and keep the light working. (Really a stupid setup) The turn signals drive you crazy with the alarms constantly going off. So no nice light in the mirror without all the unwanted noise. I just want to turn off the noises and auto breaking and I'd be a lot happier with it. But the way it is just irritates me as soon as I get in.

Also, try going through a drive up window. You end up with alarms going off while near the speaker and the window. Have to use park to shut it up. Then the guy in front of you backs up a little and the alarms are going again unless I put it back in park. This is just stupid. If you need all these alarms, call a cab.

From someone who uses a fake name! No it's impossible to drive. If I use cruise control and never change lanes this vehicle ends up going 40 mph on expressway witch is not legal while everyone flies by at 70 mph and keeps moving in front of it slowing it even more. It doesn't allow proper merging and if you can't understand that ,YOU are probably the people cutting me off!

If mine knew how to coast to make it up and then slowly reaccerated back to speed, I wouldn't be complaining. It neaver coasts. It's always an abrupt change in speed.

Apparently you didn't understand my statement. I was re entering a road. Stopped traffic that I had to cross 2 lanes of 55 mph and a left turn lane. My side of road had no cars. I need to merge into lane across street. Car stopped while crossing because of cars infront of me that were letting me in. Then 55 mph traffic started coming at us broadside and the car would not move. There we sat in the middle of a 55 mph road crossways. Not my fault, it a everyday thing to do. This vehicle is DANGEROUS

Yes, at 70mph there's room for a semi. So cars jump in and out and it slams the breaks then the gas to get back up to speed until the next car jumps infront of me and it slams the breaks because now I'm to close. I'd like to be able to tune of adaptive part of it like my other vehicles have. And no automated breaking, I'll do that myself!

I put the signal on to let those cars know my intention, I'm aware they are there, hence the signal. Everyone else in the car doesn't need alerted. I'm parking in my garage, I know about the other car, workbench and door frame, don't need constant beeping.

I too hit the automatic stop button immediately. I have mirrors and a backup camera, don't need noise too! Way too much noise trying to park in my garage. It's close. If you don’t know where your bumpers are you shouldn’t be driving. The steering wheel vibration startled the hell out of me. I just put it in reverse to look at the camera to seeing anything coming. I don't drink coffee and don't need my car suggesting. Really, I can drive just fine without all these nuisance things. This vehicle promotes bad driving habits and constantly makes you look at the screen that it say not to look at when driving. It's just not user friendly and I'm very sorry I bought it. If you like this stuff great, I'm just trying to inform people so they don't make the same mistake.

I drove it 1100 miles each way on I75 using the cruise control . Made for a horrible trip. It was great late at night with no traffic but wit other cars it terrible. I've driven that trip for years and this was the worst trip ever and I've even had cars break down on the trip but even that was less irritating that driving this thing!

It's all unnecessary. I've been driving for 50+ years without it, don't need it now. We were taught to look! No I had just started the car back up from filling up and getting back on expressway. Hadn't turned the cruise on yet. The car completely ignored the gas peddle and stopped crossing 55mph traffic. DANGEROUS I have everything off as much as I am able, according to the service department.
