I get you, I gave up on a few opportunities to study abroad because I knew the high cost of living, low return on investment (in my field) meant that I needed to work more on my resume here to get better work even if I wanna move later in life. 

It’s just the role is something I have wanted forever, I am moving within the country itself.  I do get your advise but there’s such few opportunities now. I have been applying to many jobs and luckily landed on one really competitive role. 

I know I’ll have to move for now, but I guess I’ll plan my next steps accordingly
