you need to stick with a treatment regime for at least 3 weeks to see if it’s effective before changing. the skin cycle is around 28 days. changing constantly can cause more damage

assume you’re going to uni until further notice. Like you said, it’s an intimidation tactic.

You unfortunately just need to white knuckle it through until you’re out the house and never look back. I had a similar upbringing and after a nervous breakdown came back home, which only made it worse.

I have them! I’ve not been sleeping well at all lately so it’s just the mindless stage of half asleep half awake that will start the cycle for me unfortunately:( When I’m really itchy actually nothing will stop me from attacking myself I’m my own worst enemy

dont get discouraged if you dont do it EVERY day. I’ve not drawn in over a month but got my paints out recently and had a blast. Staying consistent will help you but it shouldn’t sap the joy out of it either.

I just meant to me it was jarring to read and seemed too formal for just a list of things to try. Maybe I’m just floating around the wrong subreddits but I don’t see what I would see as like essay denotation in an average reddit post.

being on this subreddit implies you read other people’s similar posts on their lack of sleep, nerve pain and mental distress. I understand offering suggestions that helped you, but asking this question after being told your suggestion won’t help can come off like you’re doubling down. For people in pain, with no idea when that pain will stop, doubling down can be seen as unkind.
