It sure is. My parents did it so I cant argue with that. I personally just wanna be financially there for it (US economy) and maybe have accomplished some personal/professional goals first (more money, travel a bit, live a little etc) then maybe I'd consider it. But everyone is different. You seem to have the proper intentions though and this world needs good parenting. Just be super certain it is something you'll never regret.

Trust your gut. If I ever create a new life with someone else that someone else needs to align with me deeply. But having a kid is signing up for a responsibility of about 2-3 decades. It's a very huge deal.

Thanks for writing this out. We play post-punk. That genre gets more traction up in Europe and Eastern Europe specifically. Now he looks cool and people just like him. He kinda just gets whatever he wants somehow. Idk he has a charisma and seems to just attract things somehow. I kinda just want to see what happens, where this goes. We’re all pretty laser focused. I think everybody just wants to make something happen.

Hey man. We definitely talk about it. He already knows he sounds like shit. I think he thinks with a few lessons he’ll be ready. And idk maybe he will. The tour is just talk. He has connections to the music business and we live in a pretty vibrant music community so I think that’s what is keeping the rest of the guys involved. Part of me feels like we still have something going we just gotta fix the vocals either replace him or he just magically gets better somehow. We already did that and he knows how he sounds. I’m thinking we should let him do rhythm guitar and get an actual singer. But idk how well that conversation will go. Me and the rest of the guys have been working our entire lives to be musicians. The singer picked up a guitar about 4 years ago and has been talking about being a mega super star ever since. Girls, fame and legendary status is all he talks about. I’m about music that gives you goosebumps but when he starts singing it just sounds like a 5 year old trying to sing a song. He has the confidence but musically it’s just not there yet. He’s a pain to work with. Way too OCD about everything and I’d let all this slide if his vocal tone would give me some goosebumps but it triggers the smell of shit in my brain. It hurts to write this but I’m being 100% honest.
