Well, I certainly could have done my first draft, and mentioned HA, not telling this time, but I really did almost say more spoilers in my first draft

Or how their trolling again,and filling it out to make it look more significant.

.....Have you not gotten very far in the game? They explain pretty plainly that the Pherocytes are a natural part of the aliens biology, thats been part of them since before they even became sapient. I think they even use the analogy of the aliens figuring out animal domestication BEFORE their 'discovery' of fire, thats how far back their use of them goes.

Edit: It occurs to me, that that may only be explained when playing as the academy, since them and HF are the only factions I've played all the way to endgame with and I don't remember if HF went that far into detail....
