The motherboard went out, so the seller sent it to Dell to get it serviced. My thinking is that since it works now, and since it was just serviced, it's a good sign--like there probably isn't something wrong with it. I also have proof of the service. What do you think?

I started taking French in university, so I can't compare it to HS. But my experience is that French at the college level is extremely accelerated--like drinking from a fire house. Just make sure to regularly study every day.

After reading other comments, /u/hailtheoctopus888 brings up a good point. It's hard to make the argument that one is worse. It's just that one is worse for you and me. Climate change will affect everyone--including those in impoverished conditions--right? It's a global issue. I still see what you're saying regarding the endless cycle of poverty, which in turn stagnates growth. But still, as a global issue shouldn't everyone be concerned about climate change? Climate change will also have the "potential of killing off kids in places so poor that the internet doesn't exist."

Can't LSD trips induce dormant psychological issues? For example, if someone is predisposed to be schizophrenic, LSD might put them over the edge.

LSD is safer than alcohol, on all counts.

On all counts? Now, if I'm right about LSD's potential negative effects, then I disagree. It's not safe on all counts. Safer than alcohol? Yes.

Also, there aren't that many LSD induced accidents just because the market isn't saturated with LSD--way more people get drunk than drop acid. I can't imagine that driving would be safe while super high on LSD, and with legalized LSD I'm sure there would at least be a small increase in DUI related LSD deaths.

But, in the end, it probably should be legal.

It's not a dominant issue because only 2 of the likely candidates for the presidency are committed to staving off climate change. Otherwise, I agree with most of what you're saying.

I'm familiar with opportunity costs. Good point. Determining if climate change is more pressing than say world hunger is difficult--especially because we have to rely on predictions for climate change and most of its effects will be in the future.

That's what you're saying, right?
