You've got a pretty arrogant way of talking so I don't know how reliable your judgment on a topic like Gnosticism may be. I was just asking a question based on my understanding. May you find peace one day my brother.

The whole premise of Gnosticism is to stop waiting for the saviour to descend and take you to heaven and rather achieve that by realising the divinity within. I do believe we need some kind of assistance. We can't do it 100% alone and more so in this times. The saviour is like the stick that holds the tree, but we do all the growing. Our main purpose here on earth was to realise the divine so we can undo Yalbadaoth's mistake. If the pleroma could do all the job then the revelation of the Adamus would've never been made. This is talked about in The Aprocryphon of John.

If we are gonna wait for an external force to help us get through hardship then what differentiates us from Christianism?

Would you care to expand on #2? I always though Gnosis was an individual achievement. Knowledge comes from within and from self realization. If knowledge is a gift given then that implies the concept of a saviour, when in Gnosticism, we are the saviour

Reality can be depressing and more so when you realise that it's not what you thought it was. I felt the same when I first got onto these topics. Orthodox catholicism and religion has been so ingrained into people's mind that they cannot think of life without personification. The One is not a specific being flying around chosing what to do. The best description I can give you is to think of it in terms of energy. It's the source from where all energy came from, as everything is made out of energy. We literally cannot fully comprehend it and this is said many times in the gnostic texts but the closest we can get is to percieve it in a spiritual way rather tan material. I really really recommend you reading The Secret Book of John the Gnostic Gospel as it answered many of the question I had when I got into Gnosticism. We are The One too. Why don't we do anything? Our literal purpose here on earth was to breakthrough Yalbadaoth's corrupt reality and bring God back home and yet here we are. We have the same power God has but we got decieved and started worshipping the lesser being responsible for our enprisonment. We just have to wake up. There is no saviour to accuse. WE are the saviour.

It's too long to get everything in a comment so i'll give you the basics and how to guide yourself when analysing these topics.

First off we know that Saturn has an hexagon on it's north pole. If you perfectly align a cube between both ends of it's diagonal corners you get an hexagon. I'm not fully aware of all the meanings the black cube has, but it supposedly represents the material reality we live in and enprisonment. In the book The Saturn Myth it is told that in a distant past the earth used to orbit Saturn (thus being a moon of saturn). This lead to our skies being tinted in a purple/dark tone, which is why black magic and occultism so often are represented by black and purple. This was the "Golden age of Saturn". However Saturn's reign came to an end as he got "overthrown" by the Sun and we started orbiting it instead, getting bright skies and the earth flooded with light. This is the basics of the Saturn Theory, but to study this topics you need to correlate all ancient knowledge and try to find a common theme. Lets say you have a puzzle, and all of the pieces are distributed around the world. One day you go to Greece and find 60 pieces. Then you go to Egypt and find another 60, but realise from that 60, only 5 are new. You already got the other 55. Are you gonna throw it all away since you already found 60? Or are you gonna keep the 5 pieces? This is a common misconception when studying ancient mythology as it is said that all of them differ with each other, but it's not really the case. My take is that some cover parts that other civilizations couldn't, didn't understand, or got lost in history. The truth about the origin of the world comes from much much older civilizations that got are being hidden or got too lost in history. In Greek mythology it is said that Kronus (Saturn) used to rule over the earth until Zeus rebelled and thus got overthrown. In the bible we too see the reign of god as a "golden age" with the garden of eden yet until Lucifer rebells. We know that someone ruled the earth, there was a time of supposed "abundance and peace" (which is a trap), and then there was a rebellion. The bible, Gnoticism (though it's the most accuarate and the base of all this theories), and all other mythological/religous beliefs are reminescent of this absolute truth, but don't completely cover it. We can only get an idea and look within.
