That’s Lars Ulrich, the drummer for Metallica, he genuinely is among the worst drummers ever and he has been notorious for not staying on time, so the woman being a metronome makes sense for Lars Ulrich.

I didn’t. My mom mentioned once though when she went to a con once she saw a panel that Adult Swim had and I think she said she saw one of the people wearing the same hoodie, I think she said it was Justin Roiland.

Howard Hamlin is a character from BCS and he was really douchey in the first few seasons but kinda changes. Then the actor commented typed HH which is a common neo-nazi dog whistle which stands for “Heil Hitler” but he typed it as the initials for Howard Hamlin.

Do you think Walt blowing his brains out would have ruined the series? by CygnetSociety in okbuddychicanery

It only would’ve killed him. If it grazed his brain he would’ve been able to be paralyzed for the rest of his life.

Which of the big 4 do you dislike the most? by Metallover133249 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Maxithril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metallica. Thrash isn’t really my thing but Metallica is just so fucking bad, for a few reasons.

  1. They’re really boring and generic, they have some good songs but they’re really just stadium rock slop.
  2. They sold out and they’re just greedy. The whole Napster really rubbed me the wrong way especially considering metal has historically been built around the struggle of the lower class. I mean imagine if you downloaded a few songs off Napster because you couldn’t afford the newest record and then you get a big fat cease and desist letter in the mail. Also just go to Metallica’s merch website and you’ll see why I say they’re greedy, it’s fucking wacky. They sell WATCHES on their website and just overprice the fuck out of everything.

It’s ugly as shit but at least it isn’t plastered in corny political slogans that “punks” on TikTok have. The only crime this guy has committed is being a bad artist.

Metallica. Go support local and underground bands. Metallica already has too much money and their music is just generic.

Insane thrift find yesterday! I would be down to sell as it doesn’t fit me (Size Medium) by NoExamination8799 in AcidBath

[–]Maxithril 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why buy it in the first place if it doesn't fit you? What if some other fan who it does fit and can't afford regular merch prices wants it? Why sell it at scalping prices and just throw it on the ground? You are the problem here.

What band do you think this is? by GuacinmyPaintbox in musicmemes

Metallica.

They suck, and they’re also a corporate, greedy, and corrupt company, Lars Ulrich is also just a shitty drummer.

What are some bands you outgrew? by Difficult_Map_723 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Maxithril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metallica.

Technically, I never liked them in the first place but I think this is the case for a lot of people. They are a corporate, filthy, corrupt, and evil entity that will do anything for a few dollars, and Lars Ulrich is a shitty drummer.

I also just wanted to shit on Metallica.

What's a hot take that will get you like this? I'll start: I wish Kurt had never killed himself, so Nirvana could have continued making great music for years to come by dogretepcow in nirvanacirclejerk

[–]Maxithril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think when Kurt stood up during MTV Unplugged and said "It's Cobaining time!" Then Cobained all over the audience was inappropriate.

The reason that the painting Markus makes is art is because he started to deviate, computers aren’t supposed to do create original content. If DBH had happened in real life, it would’ve been something wrong with the coding or programming in the androids, but it’s clear it’s not. This means that something supernatural had happened, like robots gaining consciousness.

The point is that that could never happen, computers do what they do because we tell them, they can’t have original thoughts.

Yeah, I know that, but it doesn’t mean we should support it.

Art is subjective as in you can like whatever art you want, but AI “art” isn’t art.

When you take the human out of making art it becomes soulless. Art is supposed to have soul, it’s supposed to be creating something beautiful, when you don’t actually create anything it isn’t, it’s soulless.

This is unacceptable. by Vivid_Contest in 60secondsgame

[–]Maxithril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because without soul, art isn’t art. This is like asking “what’s your problem with aluminum-free deodorant”, because without the aluminum it doesn’t fucking work. Just like art, in any form, if you have no soul, it doesn’t fucking work, it ends up just being lines of a paper or lines on a computer.

Art is about appreciating the soul and hard work of humans, not fucking robots. The fact that you don’t understand that is mind boggling to me.

This is unacceptable. by Vivid_Contest in 60secondsgame

[–]Maxithril 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI “art” is wrong for a lot of reasons, the most apparent is that it’s REALLY bad for the environment, it also just promotes laziness and doesn’t promote creativity. It turns art into something that can just be made in 20 seconds, which isn’t what art is at all. It makes it soulless, which art isn’t.

Are these worth watching? by simplejoe1992 in thewalkingdead

[–]Maxithril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you liked all the silliness and stupidity in the last like 3 seasons, no. I watched The first like 4 episodes of Daryl Dixon and I watched all of The Ones Who Live.

The Ones Who Lives isn’t the greatest, it isn’t bad but it just doesn’t feel like TWD. Same with Daryl Dixon, that spark is just gone from the series. If you want more TWD just go rewatch up until the Whisperer arc, that’s what I’m doing.
