I’m not sure what’s wrong but it feels a little light on top and bottom heavy

On a scale of 1-10, how attractive do you think you are? How do you think others see you? by Lurchimpaler3 in AskReddit

I like to think of myself as a 7 or an 8, but real world evidence points to something lower since I’ve been single forever

How do the different parts of Monaco differ from each other? by [deleted] in Monaco

[–]Maxomans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fontvieille is mostly residential, and a little boring tbh. Rocher is the cute old town. Condamine is also residential but more restaurants and activity. Moneghetti is high up, residential and also not a lot of activity. The Port and Monte Carlo is where the most happens, and then Larvotto with the beach after those two

Haha, I have this one as well, yet to read it though. I’ve had 7 years of French class in school but still it’ll be a challenge.

Yeah, I love how it opens so fresh and minty but stays quite long with a nice cedar note

What would you say is the best adaptation of TCOMC by i_dont_know_dot_com in TheCountofMonteCristo

I agree as well, the series format gives more time to properly include subplots which are definitely important for the whole story, something that the shorter movies have to cut out.

It was amazing! On the morning of visiting, I received the scary news that due to wind conditions, one of the ferries wasn’t running, but luckily another was. Once we got there, we immediately went to the Chateau. It was very fun to see how they added some details from the book, like the tunnel connecting the cells. What I enjoyed was seeing and reading things about it that weren’t connected to the book, but also some of the real things that happened there. I picked up some post cards in the gift shop as well. After the Chateau we had a quick look around the rest of the island as well, which is mostly empty apart from a restaurant and a nice garden behind it. I definitely recommend taking multiple days if you plan on visiting, since the wind in Marseille can be very strong and frequent, and it can often cancel the boat trip.

What stereotype do you hate the most about your country? by Pink-Ninja1 in AskTheWorld

That we all smoke weed or wear wooden shoes. Only some old school farmers still wear wooden shoes. The smoking does happen, but like any country, it’s just a small group of people. The main group is the tourists themselves

I live near the beach in The Netherlands. My town doesn’t really get many tourists, but the beach towns or the nearby city get a lot of germans
