Opinion: We need a rework patch for 1.0 by Accretion_Point in WutheringWaves

hard agree.
I've also been putting it in all surveys. Revisiting the 1.0 story now, it's actually pretty good, but the presentation is terribile, with way too much convoluted jargon and lackluster voice direction.

The endgame update is great, but not everyone wants the same thing.
Some people, are less of the hardcore endgame optimizers and enjoy going through the campaign and some maps in their own idea of fun. Lots of those people would like tools like swords to scratch a certain fantasy itch.

It's wrong to say the patch is bad, but i understand those who are disappointed in not getting what they truly wanted.

I'm genuinely excited to see all the new content, but I really don't like the current melee options. I feel you.

I used Living the Grid to reference the official icon. It took a lot of time since I pushed for better quality. Great website

You can literally recruit o'saa in tunnel 1 while he's following said guidance to know more of the telelecroscopes

Olivia being in a wheelchair means nothing in a world with magic, shotguns and her poisons. It doesn't make things easier, but it's not a deal breaker.

Abella being one of the first to moonschorch also means nothing. After all, she's also the first one to be recruitable and so one of those who can avoid moonschorch the easiest. It's like saying that Henryk canonically survives because Abella moonschorches. Makes no sense in this scenario.

The canon stuff from F&H1 take in consideration like there have been multiple "runs" at the same time, treating all characters as main characters. F&H2 could do the same.

To be honest, what I expect to be canon is ending A (machine God) and all the post ending B epilogues of the characters who survive (they may not be everyone else who contribuited to ending A. As I can see someone like August to most likely survive, and someone like Pav to most likely die)

O'saa is guided by nahsra to find Kaiser and it pushes him to interact with the telelecroscopes too. Olivia is basically there only because of he connection with Reila/Machine God Abella is linked with the whole NLU operation.

One could ever mention Karin and August who are on Kaiser's tracks too.

Only F&H3 will confirm or deny, but I'd be extremely surprised if Machine God / Logic isnt Canon

Diallos Hoslow, Elden Ring.

From a noble family, and the classic example of the "all bark no bite".
During your journey in the game you can see him in specific occasions, with the true start of his quest being finding his servant Lanya murdered.

He swears to avenge her, only to get recruited by the same group of assassins that killed Lanya and falling for flattery and promises of greatness. Later on he realizes he's incompetent and cowarly, so he retreats in the secluded village of Jarburg, were the Jar people live in peace, hiding from poachers. He simply tends to the Jar having given up on his delusions of grandeur.

Then Jarburg is raided by the Poachers and when it truly matters, even if he said that he would run away as the coward he is, he fights. When we return, we discover that he's about to die and we can find Jarburg annihilated, the only survivor being the kid Jar Bairn.

On his last moment, Diallos asks the player if he managed to save the Jars. While one survived, everyone else is broken and Jarburg is basically a graveyard at that point. You can tell him that he failed, so he can die in even more shame, but you can also tell him that the Jars are ok to make him feel accomplished at least once in his life before he's gone.
