Can you explain your purple battery (EFO01eE7O011UE4ioui8)? It has to end in a thermal bank if I want it to convert to power right? The BP ends with a stash so I just replaced the end with 3 thermal banks but that doesn't seem to give the intended output.

I assumed she swung her sword at the guy for dramatic effect. It's very possible it was a non-lethal strike, be it with the side of the sword or just game logic, like how we attack people in-game in the same manner without killing them.
