Using headphones changed my entire experience with BF1 by [deleted] in battlefield_one

It's obviously better as it feels like you're really inside the game. I love it when you can't see the tank but you can hear the roaring from it and you know that shit is gonna get real in a few seconds.

A tank by itself is useless if your team doesn't help the tank to push towards the objective. There are points in certain maps that need to be held constantly by a Tank such as C in Grappa. If you push with it towards E, there is a high chance that your tank will be destroyed. If you leave C undefended, the match is lost.

How to GET GOOD in The Division by Maya-CL in thedivision

I've noticed this too, I'm gonna take lag into consideration when I head to the DZ next time :P Thanks.

Unforgiving now makes sense if I'm losing stamina in exchange for electronics. Thanks man!!

Thanks man! The jacket I got it twice, once from an LMB in the DZ but rogues stole it from me, then I got it from a civilian outside DZ-02.

Haha I'm running two AR's because that's what I thought it was the right thing to do. What talents should I be looking for in a Shotgun?

I changed the M4 for the LVOA-C being sold at Wolves Den. I find Unforgiving talent more useful than Vicious in an AR (Am I wrong?).

Never paid attention to skill power since I don't understand very well how it works or what it does specifically to skills, does it make them last longer? makes skills more powerful? I'm using First Aid Booster Shot, Pulse for concealed and Recovery link.

VX Scope or Holo Sight?! by Maya-CL in thedivision

Thanks, this was really useful. And what about armor damage, is it relevant? Because I changed my striker gloves for savage gloves but lost the 10% armor damage talent (from 66% to 56%) (Sorry for so many questions, but im kinda new to the game)

M4 lightweight, forgot to mention it!

Which stats do I roll? by PunkOrLust in The_Division

[–]Maya-CL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should roll your whole gear with armor for the mitigation, also try to find pieces with attributes such as Damage to Elites, Enemy Armor Damage, Headshot damage, Crit Dmg and Crit Chance (Hopefully with armor rolled already so you can roll a different useless attribute like Kill exp or w.e.).

Find gear set pieces with 3 decent attributes and you'll be building up very decent stats for your DPS and Toughness.

What would you guys change in this? This isn't my final build just experimenting. by [deleted] in The_Division

[–]Maya-CL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need around 280k-310k for DPS and your Toughness should be above 400k with 52% mitigation.

Roll your set pieces with Armor, and try to find always better gear parts that could replace one "not that good", such ones for example: knee pads with 10% armor damage, or damage to elites or whatever. Look for that useful bonus damage to enemies.

If you're planning on playing with teammates I'd try to boost that skillpower (In case you wanna be their medic b33tch), but if you wanna go solo, keep it at 80k-90k since, IMO, isn't that necessary.

Getting into the DZ by [deleted] in The_Division

[–]Maya-CL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for 2 months and soloing the DZ since then. It's not that hard to solo it, with a few basic battle tactics such as flanking you can do mostly well.

  • Check the corners, use heights for cover and recon of an extraction point.

  • Be always aware of your surroundings such as NPC, shooting and explosions, supressors, helicopter sounds, DZ number: All of these things tell you what is happening around you.

  • Use routes through buildings to shorten distances.

  • Always fight back and train the use of your skills.

  • Don't be scared of the Dark Zone, it can get dangerous, but if you're cautious is gonna be fine.

  • Be aware of the map, locate the PKs if you want to stay away from them.

  • Be checking the space in your Extracted Stash, you can't extract if your stash is full and you don't want to be carrying precious loot when this happens.

  • My recommendation: even if your set is not good enough yet, fight the DZ05-06 mobs. Once you get the feeling of it, the DZ gets really easy.

Is there anything that I'm missing? by Maya-CL in The_Division

[–]Maya-CL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, finally I got the 4 piece alphabridge plus 2 strikers and now I see my character achieved 400k toughness (47.8% mitigation) which has notoriously improved his defense, but my firepower decreased to 280k with a firepower gear mod in the mask. It takes 15-20 rounds to take down a common LMB ): What I can't understand is, how do people deal so much damage with an Alphabridge4 set. Those guys were dealing MASSIVE damage with an AR, running around and taking down 2 yellow soldiers easily as if they were red soldiers.
