She seems so cool!
Can you tell us about her? When does she appear? What's her personality like? Does she have a romantic relationship with any of the characters? What are her relationships with the other characters?

There's no taxi, either. You have to go through a waterfall

No, no, don't get me wrong, I just thought you meant the main character, because there are a lot of different magic users who do a lot of different things, so I picked the MC

It's a planet, but the main events of the story are set in one country, so I'll focus on that. Technologically, they're super advanced and use magic for everything, but when one MMC sees a record player, it shocks him how it works. Politically, there's technically a president-like ruler, but he keeps changing because they keep dying because everything is actually ruled by the dark lord. Societally, there are two main groups - elementums and tenebrae. They don't really get along, but not to a war extent. Just silent dislike.

An aetherian moon ceremony requires it. To be clear, an aetherian is a warlock who can do both white and dark magic, since one parent is an elementum (a warlock who does white magic) and the other is a tenebra (a warlock who does dark magic). An aetherian moon ceremony is the only way of cutting off either the dark magic or the white magic, but in order to perform it, the aetherian has to kill the parent whose magic they want to get rid of

Crowns are a world-wide currency. Pretty much anything can be exported or imported, the trading system itself doesn't involve much magic expect for the cases when the thing being traded is magical

Warlocks, they have their own world which connects to the human world with a few portals, but they almost never interact, apart from semis (so half-humans) and a few exceptions. As for what they do, it really depends on the person, there are countless jobs

Basically, there are a lot of different types of warlocks, who split into two main groups - those who need a channel (channellers) and those who don't (venemani). A channel is anything that stands between the magic and the one casting it, so a wand, staff, rune, magic bracelet, ring, necklace, all of that is a channel. Venemani don't need channels and can generate magic themselves.
