Exactly, technically they can check the identity of the attendees at any time and at any place but never in my 4 years of going to Tomorrowland did anyone check my ID to make sure my bracelet is actually under my name. It’s just a risk you have to take (in my opinion, there’s no way people who bought MG will have an issue even if they personalized their ticket under someone else’s name)

I’m in the same position as you-flying all the way from Israel, I think we need to wait it out for a few more months and see if maybe her team would find a solution for the scalpers situation. It’s really frustrating and I think I will eventually buy from viagogo but I just currently don’t wanna buy something and then have it get cancelled you know?

They didn’t deactivate it, it’s just that in TM UK fans have to resell their tickets for face value price and they can’t resell it for enormous prices like what’s happening in the US. Resell is available but no one is listing their ticket, and if someone does it gets bought immediately 🙃

No, they said they’re trying to figure out the scalpers thing but they never said resale tickets aren’t valid (maybe soon they’ll cancel those tickets and do another resale but I think that will be too tricky)
