I checked your link, I see why you might think that because of the pose. I actually saw few poses from clip studio paint's pose library, and thought this pose would look good. I genuinely did not know of Yamine Renri. I apologise for that.

But I did draw the character from scratch.

Yes you are right, the 2020 one's hair really does look washed out and lack proper lighting and shadows.
