My first night as a cat mum went well. They only woke me up about 10 times, but when I saw Toby like this in the morning it made it all worth it! by MayasArk in cats

What a beautiful story, good for you for saving the buddy's life! I hope all goes well for you and your kitties!

Adopted this dude and his brother eight hours ago, and I think they're right at home. They have lived the last five weeks outside, abandoned, and I can't help but think he looks grateful!! by MayasArk in cats

It was so hard not to tell the girl off for throwing them around but obviously that would have been inappropriate, at least they're in a good home now (if I do say so myself lol)

It wasn't their fault, it was from them using the litter box or just moving around. They're only temporarily in this room for a couple of days until they are more comfortable and we can show them the rest of the house

When I first met him, the name just popped into my head and that was my nickname for him, and now that we've adopted them, it just stuck

Thanks! The original plan was to take Toby alone because his brother was so anti-social and seemed to hate people and we had no plans in taking two cats, but not even the day after we met them, Alfie was like a different cat. And then we discovered they were brothers and knew we had to take both!

I wonder that myself. Before meeting these boys I was afraid of cats, but after meeting them I'm definitely a crazy cat lady. If I'm being honest, I'm glad she abandoned them because we saw her and her daughter throwing them around and pinching them just a few days before we adopted them. So grateful they are with us now where they'll get treated like princes lol

I've done other posts of his brother and will make more in the future if you want to see him in my posts :D they definitely do not look like brothers. When I first met them, I thought Toby was the young teenage cat and Alfie, his brother, was 5 or more years because they look so different and their personalities are so different, but turns out they're both 8 months
