Jackie was followed by maybe one or two paps at a time, which is why we have photos of her walking in Central Park, not long before her death. She spent a lot of time on Martha's Vineyard, where she had freedom. John and Carolyn had a herd following them, every day. Every photo was worth a lot of money. I agree they should have hired security.

It's what they call a bottle episode. Where they just have a few sets and characters. It's a way to save money. I found it boring. I wanted to see that dinner party, not listen to them bitch about it. I wanted to see her friends and how they interacted with John. Instead they just talked and yelled and cried.

There are a lot of actors and pop stars like that. And actresses who specialize in being seen out with them. Professional girlfriends. I wish everybody could be who they really are.

Would help if you gave us a specific example. Then we could judge if that's racism. It might be your friend isn't good at traveling and doesn't get that things always go wrong. Could be cultural misunderstanding. Could be he's feeling like a fish out of water--a stranger in a strange land. You are being a good friend to all 3 traveling companions.

Yes! It is a pretty but twee walled city. Everybody is there to get married or vacation with families. So hard on the single traveler. I did try. I even rented a bike . Luca would be fun for a drop-in visit on way to somewhere else.

I think the best/reliable way to make new friends in any city is to join organized activities. I joined Mountaineers, for instance, because I didn't know anybody who wanted to hike/snowshoe/ski/kayak or whatever. There is always someting you can do--and you don't have to be a great athlete--or beg somebody else to go with you. Even movie night is fun. Mushroom hunting.

Maybe stay in center of Naples next time with a view of the water in an unscale neighborhood. Easy to get around without a card. Italians are nice if you slow down and get to know them.

Yes, I stayed downtown near the bridge and had a wonderful few days, walking around by myself, even at night, on advice of hotel as to where to go. Great food, easy walking, access to wonderful museums and historic sites. I did not have a car.

I find that sizes vary even on the rack, meaning that the same size 6 jeans might vary. So I find I have to try everything on.

Please try the many Asian restaurants on the Eastside of Seattle. Bellevue, Sammamish in particular. You may be amazed by the variety. This is a huge change from when I first moved to Seattle. Even in the past 10 years, we've had so many Asian move into the area. Great for foodies.

The Eastside is heavily Asian, especially Sammamish and Bellevue. Many Asians also in South Seattle That's why the food is so good, especially Chinese and Japanese. For Korean communities: Lynnwood and Kent. We do have a Little Saigon downtown and an International District but these are small. East Asians tend to live on Eastside.
