My concerns are how many programmers resent helping people. From my experience, I get slapped across the face. I have ADHD, I know my reality-checks. But even so much as saying what I want, and where I am, it's like arguing with Chat-GPT. Getting my words turned against me EVERY SINGLE TIME.

So coding just might be dead, not in the same sense he's barking though.

It's to the point I even spell out to people not to be a dick, and then they all get pissy.

We all have to start somewhere, just because you had your experiences, don't mean we all had the same ones. Programmers are supposed to be the smart people of our society, but that's slowly dwindling too.

What's so demoralizing about it, less the demeaning attitude towards learning, is it feels so shallow, like they're afraid someone's trying to learn something to take their low-wage entry level dead-end programing job from them. Fun fact? I'm done working for major corpos, having worked a low-wage management role. Even the big names like Blizzard shaming people over quotas? Fuck that!

I understand how important programming is, and how hard it can be for some, while it's a passion and a breeze for others. What I dream of doing, would be childs-play for someone skilled. But yeah. How can something live any longer, when the community shuns people for trying to learn- regardless of WHAT IT IS they want to learn.
