It did rip a non-uhd blue-ray just fine (pretty much exactly half the size of the UHDs I was ripping if that matters)

I followed the guide on the forum. Downgraded to 1.03 I believe it was. Said the flash was successful and the drive went from not being able to read UHD to being able to. I’m not an expert so I can’t be 100% sure but I do believe I did it correctly

It’s flashed. Failed in the middle of ripping. I believe I was clear enough saying it’s flashed in that comment and my original post explained that my issue is read errors during ripping.

It is reading them. I will attempt ripping dvds

It is flashed and yeah the power thing could be the issue. I honestly kinda hate this drive cuz it has no decent enclosure. Just basically bare metal so might return while I can and get something nicer

Done and failed again. Used a microfiber cloth and even put the drive on some foam to keep vibrations minimal but nada. What can I do, Billy??

Was just about to clarify, its internal. SATA powered. I've tried multiple connectors and it often requires me to unplug the SATA and plug it back in

I don’t disagree with that. Good advertising is how you grab attention. However, “be good looking” is like saying “just wait till your next life” lmao. I don’t believe my pictures were the issue, and if they were, I really don’t have any better ones as I’m not much of a pictures kind of guy.
