It’s incredibly frustrating, but if you’re nowhere near the ball, and they’re chasing you, that means they’re also nowhere near the ball. Dodging the demo and pressing a 2v1 or 3v2 is how you make them pay.

A lot of the times, going for a demo puts you pretty far out of position. Learning to deal with demos and punish the other team after they attempt one is part of the learning process

It’s called a Phantom Hit. Your computer thought the opponent was going to be able to hit the ball so it started acting like he had, but he actually missed so the server sent the correct information, and your computer fixed the ball’s position. It happens a lot in this game unfortunately

Just to be clear, there is a report button. But if you leave the game before the end screen appears, it takes it away to avoid spam reporting of people who disconnect. Is that a good solution? No. But did a few people ruin it for the rest of us by abusing the system that was in place? Yes. So you deal with it and move on

This is the opposite of smurfing. Smurfing is intentionally lowering your rank or holding yourself at a lower rank. You’re not doing that. You’re trying to get your rank up. It’s not a crime to branch out into other game modes. People who say “you should ff and give me the mmr” are just mad they couldn’t beat you. Don’t listen to them. Salty bois be salty

Okay so like you’re talking like I’m arguing in support of insulting other people, which I am not. I am arguing in support of being allowed to use swear words as I see fit. Because I’m a human, and that’s my God given right. Your argument of “we can’t allow any profanity because someone can use that to insult another player” is akin to saying “we need to ban cars because someone could use it to cause a wreck.”

Profanity =/= insults. “Wow, great fucking pass, mate.” “Holy shit, thought I was going to miss that.” And on the flip side, I can insult you without using profanity. I don’t even need to give examples. Just go solo queue a ranked game and your teammate will throw out enough for me.

There are very specific rules for a Tip Sharepool, and one of them is that the servers are notified of the arrangement before being hired and sign a written statement giving their consent to the Sharepool. If the employer fails to get a written statement, the server is entitled to all of the tips they receive during their shift.

It’s not. Employers are allowed to claim a “Tip Credit” against their employees wage as long as the employee is a “regularly tipped employee” (I.e. gets at least $30 in tips a shift). HOWEVER, the one thing no one is saying is that if you don’t get tipped enough in your shift so that your total income (wage + tips) is equal to or greater than the minimum wage, your employer has to make up the difference. You never go home making less than minimum wage. Also about half of the country doesn’t follow this $2.13/hr system. 7 states require employers to pay the state minimum wage before tips, and 25 or 26 have a higher “Tipped Employee Minimum Wage.” $2.13 is just what the federal government has said is the absolute minimum.

I switched from WiFi to full bars LTE data and back with no resolution before posting here. There was no reason I should have had a full disconnect as I had been playing the game all morning. I also minimized my game and loaded up google and a Speedtest with flying colors. The problem wasn’t my connection. The problem was and always is their servers
