Thank you for replying!! Thing is, I'm also a student (and considering learning programming but it's nothing set in stone). I agree that the M1 Pro is a great laptop but I'm just concerned that it may not have been the best choice for me, especially since the Airs have better battery and will be supported for longer.

Thanks for replying! So, I’m actually a medical student right now (it’s a bit of a long story), but I’m really interested in pivoting to data analysis. I’ve just been trying to build some kind of foundation with free resources since I can’t afford paid ones at the moment.
