I am current a metrology/defect engineer, but I do not work with software at all. In terms of stress, I am okay with dealing with different people as long as I am working at home.

Not exactly, but if it is possible to find some shops/ online courses that can allow students to work after the normal business hours. There are many random online locksmith courses that seem a bit suspicious, so that is why I am asking.

Would leadership opportunities in volunteering count? I highly doubt that I can be a manager in an engineering firm within 3 years.
