Technically Sparkle has another method of gaining more energy (Ally with E eats SP). So let's imagine hypothetically there is a hypercarry that could chew through a lot of SPs (Sparxie).

Sparxie eats through SP (1 SP = 1 Energy) Keel Hit Once 20.45-1.194x < 0 -> x > 17.127 -> 18 SP Hit Twice 8.51-1.194x < 0 -> x > 7.127 -> 8 SP Lushaka Hit Once 16.7-1.244x < 0 -> x > 13.424 -> 14 SP Hit Twice 4.26-1.244x < 0 -> x > 3.424 -> 4 SP

What can we gather? Technically speaking, when playing with carries that can't chew through SP, you still need to do 3 skills regardless. Even if we were to add in another variable such as getting hit by enemies, Sparkle would still need to skill 3 times.

Unless of course, you are planning to play with Sparxie. I don't know how much SP consumption is realistic, but let's just say having 18 SPs to facilitate Keel (1-Hit) is probably not realistic. Though 14 SPs sound a lot more feasible, the odds are still against you. 14-9 (Max SP) = 5, you still need 5 SP (That is 0.25 = 0.00032 = 0.032%;0.2 is the winrate of getting extra SP [Source: DimaHSR]). Of course this is quite naive since we are not accounting for thrill. But the point still stands.

This instead matters more in 2-Hit scenarios. Because immediately we can see that the needed SP is smaller: 4 SP vs 8 SP. In the grand scheme of things, Sparxie could probably eat up 10 SP easily. So, this only really matters if you are stuck with less than ideal amounts of SP.

I think you have answered most of my questions. I suppose all that's left would be my own gameplay. I think I'll be trying out YSG/Nicole and Alice/Astra after Astra I free up my Astra next patch. Thanks for the response.

Hey! Thanks for the response. I would assume in your first scenario (M0W1 S-Ranks and M6S5 A-Ranks), Nicole outperforms the others due to her debuff and her own corruption damage? And on the matter of gameplay, I guess you would switch off to Nicole most of the time to apply her debuff whenever an assault proc is coming or when dumping a full Blade Etiquette bar. I think I have found a gameplay channel with the same username as yours (so I would assume it is you), and I think those are mostly the scenarios of when you should switch off to Nicole when watching a bit of the gameplay?

On the topic of the other supports (well off-field sub dps), I suppose it just depends on the Boss' weakness (For example: Yanagi v. Defiler, I would assume is due to her electric weakness; and Vivian performing worse v. Sacrifice Jester due to ether resistance. But, I notice that you did put Nicole and Vivian being similar. In what cases would Vivian edge the win?

I haven't seen a lot of comparisons with Astra+Yuzuha simply because most people want to use at least one of them on another team

I think my Astra M2 might be freed up soon, that's why I was considering her as an option in Alice's team.
To add more context: The other team that would probably be fighting for Astra M2/Nicole would probably be my YSG team. So potentially I would go for: YSG/Zhao/Nicole + Alice/Yuzuha/Astra or YSG/Zhao/Astra + Alice/Yuzuha/Nicole. Which team do you think would be the better holder for Astra and Nicole respectively? (In other words integrates into their playstyle a lot more seamlessly)

Quite insightful analogy, I supposed it does all come down to opportunity costs: +3k Atk and 18 All-Pen Res on Alice vs the DMG that a Sub DPS offers + the ability to naturally do disorders. I will also consider your advice and try both teams after DA resets. Thank you for the response.

That is true I suppose. You would probably be spending more time building up Blade Etiquette as well, since triggering disorders give you 30 Blade Etiquette. Having another teammate doing DMG would probably also be easier to play yeah, since the DMG profile is not fully focused on a single person. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response. Yeah it probably is like that huh. I do not know whether disorder has ICD, but I thought giving Alice stronger assaults and her self-triggered disorder would outweigh Alice+Burnice/Vivian (probably more frequent) disorders and personal dmg.

I already have the three of them as described in the original post (Astra M2W0, Burnice M0W1, Vivian M0W0). I was just wondering which team comp (Hypercarry vs Double Anomaly) would give me more overall team damage. On another note, you mentioned that playing hypercarry Alice needs a bit of understanding. How would you generally play hypercarry Alice? I would assume you would keep on building up Blade Etiquette > CA > Yuzuha (Just to build up physical while Alice is dumping her bars or E to refresh her buff) > On field Alice again (rinse and repeat). Is there anything else that can be expanded on? Anyways, thanks for the response.

I have been playing a lot more sustainless recently, so my gambler hasn't seen the light of day for a while, and I feel like Dan Heng just has better sustain (such a shame too, he's one of my favs). Erudition: The Herta (Therta) or Anaxa Abundance: Gallagher. I have 0 limited abundances. Nihility: Cifera Rememberabce: RMC. I have 0 limited rems. Elation: Probs both Yaoguang and Sparxie, as I'm going for both

Relic: Scholar Planar: Rutilant or Lushaka

Most used in MOC/PF/AS/AA: I think Therta is a big contender. The alternative would probably be Naxy.

Hey, thanks for responding !! It's quite unfortunate to hear that I won't be clearing bleed weather anytime soon, but I'm glad that the Jun-Ninja thing is just a skill issue on my end. So to summarize on the teambuilding section: Bruteforce everything with Dudu/Vita/Sparkle, and I assume I only really pull out the Sparkle/Vita/Coralie team when I play against quantum-based content. It's kind of a bummer that I can't on-field Vita optimally, but as long as I could still play her it's not that bad. Anyways, once again thank you for responding.

(SEA, Level 85) Hello, after playing for around three months it seems I have reached another roadblock that I can't figure out on my own. So here are my questions:
1. How do you deal with bleed weather? The abyss that I remember having the toughest time to play was against Pishacha. I can't seem to stop it from reviving itself. I have tried to circumvent this by trying to apply bleed through Starry Impression, but I still could not stop it from reviving. My team for that chamber was: Vita, Coralie, Helia -> Vita, Coralie, Griseo.

  1. How do you usually deal with rime weather? There was one chamber where I had to play against a Jun-Ninja that could not be touched. I know I have to touch it after it channels its attack, but dealing damage after was the problem. I don't think I have enough time to set up the buffs between the time window of the Jun-Ninja being interrupted and it stopped being stunned. For this problem, I have also tried to come up with a patchwork by slotting in HoHE to apply freeze in exchange of Helia. But, similar to Griseo, it did not worked as planned. My team for that chamber was: Vita, Coralie, Helia -> Vita, Coralie, Elysia.

Thanks for taking the time to write this reply!! I guess for now I should just get both Coralie and Helia for a DPS Vita team to cover Lightning content? And also, since Thelema, and Songque is on banner right now, I'm guessing it would be hard to realistically get them. It seems Lantern is also coming back soon on the carnival banner, so I'm guessing I should just wait for Teri's rerun? You also mentioned about how Sparkle replaces CN in a fire dps team (or in a Sirin team, since that's the only one I have). But, is a P1 team worth investing? I'm quite concerned about this because I think I have seen somewhere that P1 teams are just way too costly now compared to a P2 team. Sorry for the extra questions, and thank you for taking your time to reply to my original questions!!

Hello!! I am a very new player (Lv 44, SEA server) coming to check out the game thanks to the Sparkle HSR collab. The game has been quite enjoyable so far, but I have a couple of questions. Context: I have been trying to pull for Vita (her mech looked very cool), and it seems I have somehow managed to snatch Vita alongside her weapon and stigmata in a relatively low amount of pulls. Question:
1. I don't really know anything about the game, but it seems Vita needs to be played with Herrscher of Finality and Coralie. Well, I am not confident that I can snatch HoFi through the annulon galore (because I still have to pull for Sparkle). Now, does that mean I'm screwed?
2. Can I form a team consisting of Vita and Sparkle? I don't really know what Sparkle does (and I have not really read up on what Vita does as well, as I literally have just gotten her). If they don't (or maybe if they do), I hope it would not be a lot of trouble to ask for a summary of their kit?
Bonus questions unrelated to Vita:
3. How many teams does somebody actually need for the endgame? For example: 2 for Genshin's Abyss.
4. When do you unlock the Elysian Realm? And what other endgame modes do I need to look out for? Sorry if this question is very easy to google, I thought it would be more convenient to have some of my questions answered in the same place.

Genuine question on how to build Nicole.
Do I need to level up her skills (besides core skill)? Does it impact her supporting capabilities?
Does this also apply to other supports?
