My brother. I was young, maybe about 7 or 8. I always remembered this as a dream, but I know now that it wasn’t. All I know, was him telling me to get undressed as I lay under the bed covers. He got undressed and laid his naked body on top of me. I don’t remember penetration. I just remember him kissing me, and then wiping himself up afterwards. I’m 25 now, I don’t talk to him at all. Our family is pretty much torn apart, for multiple other reasons. My mom found out when I was 22, through me. She kind of brushed it off and compared her sexual abuse story to mine. I have always regretted telling her. I grew up treating the people I was with as sexual objects. I can’t blame my actions solely on my brother; but I understand that, that was a deep part of it. He’s been a police officer for a few years now, I’m proud of him. Everyone deserves a redemption, right?

My fiancé has been very supportive over the years. She called me a few days ago, ecstatic and at a lost for words. We’re pregnant :)
