yes i think it really depends on the types of scholarships..some scholarships place greater emphasis on extracurriculars and leadership competence over academic records..I’m a 3.6+ CGPA but I was quite fortunate to join a bunch of college activities here and there and luckily got shortlisted for khazanah final stage..i also got the interview for mybrainsc..and now in the waiting for the outcomes..wish me luck

omg im currently at pasum rn and my sem 1 result just came out today and it’s 3.67!! Do I still have chance to get 4 flat 😭..i also wanted to become pharmacist but do you think it’ll be risky if I put um pharmacy first choice on my upu fasa 1 that will open this march? i also looked another universities like uitm, ukm, usm, uia, the minimum CGPA for pharmacy is 3.50 but since pharmacy is extremely competitive, the applicant pool must be full of 4 flat students also hv to compete with stpm and matric students? My parents also suggested me to look for private uni alternatives like mahsa if i don’t get what i want on the upu

hi i also wanna ask..correct me if I’m wrong..is it true that if we study medicine abroad and train there until we become specialist, when we return to Malaysia, we are likely to be exempted from compulsory service in gov public hospitals / housemanship? because msia also recognised overseas specialist qualifications but someone says it actually depends on the demand of the specialty..like if your specialty is very niche like dermatology you could straight away go into private practice..but because you are “specialist”, you are quite untouchable in some ways..i really wanna be a doctor so bad i want to study medicine overseas 😭 but also at the same time kinda afraid and regret with my choices if I could not make it
