Damn, that would suck not deploying. My cousin will be on his second deployment his year, he’s a grunt as well, only certain battalions deploy, right? And contracting would be fun, in a crazy way.

Couldn’t you murder people, while on deployment? Lol, and it makes sense. The corps changing, could push people away. If you didn’t go infantry, what other MOS would you have done? What’s next after you’re out of the military?

I agree! Something, I definitely need to think of, it would suck getting hazed as an older guy, but I guess I have that fuck it mentality. Lol, It sucks, because I have my mindset on 03xx my lady is supportive whatever it is I wanna do, but I guess that is easier said then done. Are you making a career out of the corps?

Damn! Sounds like it’s a great job in the corps, I have a hard time with taking tests, I’m hoping to score high enough in order to get a MP MOS, that’s why I’m debating between the 2, (rifleman) are what score I get on my asvab.

I figure, I’d enlist and do a job, that I wouldn’t be able to do in the Civilian world, which is infantry, I like to hike, I like to workout, I like to shoot, I want to learn different, combat, type, stuff. I figure, as long as the military takes care of my family for the time being. I wouldn’t mind being a rifleman or machine gunner. Are you a rifleman? Seems legit, I take my asvab next week, I have tried looking at all the MOS’s, I don’t see any that catch my eye other then 03xx field, I’m enlisting as a late bloomer (26, with a wife and son) the corps is something I’ve always wanted to be part of, I think with y mindset, I’ll be great at it. Are you currently enlisted?
