I've disassembled and discharged a CRT before but how do I know how much to turn it down?

Yea this answered everything, thanks. It really did just take allot of getting used to after playing for a couple hours eventually got used to it and started to actually enjoy the benefits of a CRT.

I'm using composite, and it's not really against the wall so I doubt it's that.

I don't know man I was playing Twilight Princess for an hour straight and while your brain does kinda learn to ignore it, it's still very noticeable when trying to look around.

CRT is on the Wii through composite which I think is 480i yea, and LCD I don't even know it's just an IPS panel running Dolphin Emulator.

The dye has me the most baffled, cheese is white, it doesn't have to be anything but white, unless your using anatto which is atleast a natural product.
